The HDS-R is widely used both in the clinical setting and in epidemiological research in Japan and was developed after considering its feasibility for worldwide use [ 12 ]. Web(MoCA), Revised Hasegawa’s Dementia Scale (HDS-R), and Clock Drawing Test (CDT) were identified to be relatively common, among which only HDS-R has been developed on an Asian population sample. Hasegawa’s Dimentia Scale was developed by Kazuo Hasegawa in 1974, and it was revised (HDS-R) in 1991.
