WebAug 3, 2016 · Called back Danby customer service and they told me that the cost of a new compressor would have been too much anyway and buying a replacement refrigerator was my best option. There are at most 3 critical parts in a refrigerator, and Danby cant make or support their units for longer than 12 months.
